General & Safety
How does the NooBark Collar stop excessive barking humanely?
The NooBark Collar uses intelligent, progressive feedback to capture your dog’s attention and interrupt the barking cycle naturally. By offering sound (beep), vibration, and mild static stimulation options, the collar provides immediate, consistent guidance without causing harm or distress. Over time, your dog learns to self-regulate and stay calm on their own.
Is the NooBark Collar safe for my dog?
Yes, absolutely. The NooBark Collar is designed with canine safety as the top priority. The static stimulation mode delivers a mild, attention-grabbing tickle similar to a static shock from a carpet, not a painful current. If you prefer a completely shock-free experience, you can set the collar to Sound Only or Vibration Only modes.
Will the collar trigger when other dogs bark or when ambient noise occurs?
No. The NooBark Collar features advanced dual-sensor filtering technology that measures both acoustic bark frequencies and throat vibrations. It will never trigger from surrounding dogs, street noise, loud TVs, or slamming doors.
How old or heavy does my dog need to be to use NooBark?
We recommend the NooBark Collar for dogs that are at least 6 months old and weigh 8 lbs (3.6 kg) or more.
Product Features & Functionality
What training modes are available?
NooBark offers 4 versatile training modes:
- Sound (Beep) Mode: Delivers an audible tone to redirect attention.
- Vibration Mode: Delivers gentle, painless vibrations.
- Sound + Vibration Mode: Combines both non-static cues for enhanced feedback.
- Progressive Correction Mode: Gradually steps up feedback if barking continues, then automatically resets once the dog stops barking.
How do I adjust the sensitivity level?
You can easily adjust through 8 sensitivity levels using the touch screen on the LED display. We recommend starting at Level 1 or 2 and observing your dog’s reaction. If the collar does not register your dog’s bark, increase the sensitivity by one level until you find the sweet spot.
How does the auto-lock safety feature work?
To prevent accidental setting changes while your dog is playing or running around, the display screen automatically locks after a brief period of inactivity. Simply hold the lock button on the touch screen to unlock and make adjustments.
Sizing, Fit & Compatibility
How do I know if the NooBark Collar will fit my dog?
The collar comes with a fully adjustable, heavy-duty nylon strap that fits neck sizes from 8 inches to 24 inches (20 cm to 60 cm). It comfortably accommodates small, medium, and large breeds ranging from 8 lbs to 120 lbs.
How tightly should the collar be fitted?
For optimal performance, the contact prongs must rest gently against your dog’s skin on the front of the neck. The fit is correct when you can snugly slip two fingers between the collar strap and your dog’s neck.
Can my dog wear the NooBark Collar all day?
For your dog’s comfort and skin health, we recommend limiting wear time to no more than 12 consecutive hours per day. Periodically check your dog’s neck to ensure the skin remains clean and free of irritation.
Battery & Maintenance
How long does the battery last on a full charge?
The high-capacity lithium-ion battery provides up to 15 days of active daily use (or up to 30 days on standby mode) on a single charge.
How long does it take to charge?
The collar reaches a full charge in approximately 2 hours using the included magnetic USB charging cable.
Is the NooBark Collar waterproof?
Yes. NooBark is rated IP67 waterproof, meaning it is completely dust-tight and can handle heavy rain, wet grass, and temporary splashing. While it stands up to outdoor play, we recommend removing the collar before extended swimming or deep diving sessions.
How do I clean the collar?
Wipe down the device housing and strap with a damp cloth and mild soap. Ensure the charging contacts are dry before plugging in the charger.
